What form allows us to study
The relationships between close motifs and their orientations. The gaze and the center organize the transition.
An observation point
Apparent symmetry can mask a difference in preparation. Choose a short sequence and compare two trials with the same criterion. The video is used to prepare a question for the course; the fix belongs to the dojo version.
Related motifs and specific directions
Meikyo invites you to observe sequences that are similar while having their own preparations. The gaze, the path of the foot and the entry of the hand make these distinctions visible. A memory based solely on the finish position risks confusing two passages. More marked transitions must remain linked to the actions surrounding them. The name of the shape provides a cultural cue, but does not dictate a single interpretation. Comparison with variants requires identifying the lineage and model actually taught.
Compare patterns without erasing their differences
Locate two passages that seem close and examine their entrance, orientation and exit. The path of the foot or the preparation of the arm may change despite a comparable arrival. Learn each segment with its own cues, then connect them in shape. The look announces a direction and should not only serve to correct an already established posture. A frontal video helps to observe symmetry; another view may reveal a detail of the movement. The comparison becomes useful when it clarifies a difference instead of flattening the two passages.
