A defined responsibility
Helping an experienced partner does not automatically give responsibility for a group. The club defines who teaches, who assists and what tasks are assigned. Qualifications and conditions depend on the organization concerned. An assistant must know the framework of his mission and the situations to be transmitted to the manager. Transmission relies as much on coherent instructions as on the ability to execute a technique.
Demonstrate what should be observed
Announce the criterion before the demonstration: route, direction or moment. A very quick gesture can show a complete shape without making the question visible. A slow trial then a trial at the planned pace provides different information. Position observers so they can see the point being studied and check their understanding. The demonstration is not a performance competition between the teacher and the group.
Correct a task, not a person
Describe the expected change with a concrete action and a benchmark. Request a new trial, then observe the effect. If nothing changes, rephrase rather than repeating the same sentence louder. Public correction should not humiliate; a contact intended to guide a movement is proposed and settled with the person. Observation includes understanding the instructions, not just compliance with a pose.
Prepare a progression
Construct an initial task, a variation and a criterion allowing you to move on. If the group loses control, return to a more understandable situation. After the lesson, note what the instructions allowed you to learn and what required adaptation. Feedback from practitioners and the manager enriches the following preparation.
Check understanding
